Imagine the Dallas Cowboys cheering in a ganja commercial.
Or the NFL or NBA officially endorsing a brand of marijuana
with players, in commercials, having a toke on the weekend.
If you were a coach of a sports team, would you rather
have your players show up on Monday after a weekend of
getting bombed, or after a weekend of getting lit with Mary Jane?
The fear of “high potency” ganja is ridiculous compared to what I fear:
a punch bowl spiked with Everclear, or worse.
If you were a regular user of pot or booze, which would you fear
being without more?
If you were a cop, would you rather respond to a drunken
brawl or to a dispute involving marijuana? I don’t think I need
to actually poll police personnel to know their overwhelming
answer. They’ll pick the pot bust almost every time.
No wonder alcohol prohibition couldn’t be continued,
but cannabis prohibition endures despite common sense.
