Ganja Cars

Picture it.  1941.

Hitler is on the rise in Europe.
The country is slowly recovering from the Great Depression,
and the US is about to embark on the incredible
journey known as World War II.

Ganja is has recently been made illegal, four years ago,
and industrialists, like Henry Ford are just
starting to realize the amazing production
capacity of nature’s miracle fiber, hemp.

Popular magazines are extolling the virtues
of cannabis and the incredible new applications
that were being designed for it. US farmers are
hired to grow hemp for parachutes and other critical
military needs.

And along comes the genius of the assembly
line, Henry Ford, to demonstrate a previously
undreamt of use for the humble pot plant. Mr. Ford
uses ganja stalks to produce a test vehicle, entirely
from byproducts of the hemp plant.
It even ran on ganja oil. Stunning.

This video is actual footage of Ford’s prototype
cannabis car.

Listen carefully and you’ll hear the speaker say
“lighter AND stronger than steel”. Just think of
how important those two things are to the current
automotive industry. The weight of the car is so
important to them that they are selling us lighter
fiberglass and plastics, giving up the strength of steel.

Seems like a no-brainer to me!
