Cooking With Cannabis: Oil
Welcome back everyone, to Primo’s Pot Parade,

It was such a nice cool late July week,
Across the country, that I thought
What a great time to get everyone back in a hot kitchen,
And cook up some medicated marijuana OIL.
Now, I know oil has become a dirty word lately, BP, grrrr
But infusing cooking oil with cannabis is
One of the easiest, most effective ways,
of preparing Your medical marijuana.
And cooking oil is used in so many recipes,
that marijuana oil gives you all kinds of new
medicated food options.
Rather than cooking from scratch with butter, using
some complicated recipe, with all kinds of ingredients,
You’ll be able to pick up any prepackaged baking product, that calls for oil, like these,
Or use it in salads, stir-frys, veggies, whatever you want.
Regardless of the recipe, remember that the
Strength of the medicinal effect will depend only on the
Amount of cannabis oil eaten.
Different recipes call for more oil than others,
But the dose strength will always depend on
the amount of weed Oil in each serving.
Oh, and one final warning before we begin.
You can choose any naturally occurring oil, but
Never use any margarine, or other “un” natural,
factory manipulated oil or butter substitutes.
They will all fail, and you will waste your weed.
And by the way, all naturally occurring oils and butters are Far healthier than any “I can’t believe they ruined my butter”-
Type products.
Choose your favorite oil, any kind, olive oil, peanut oil, canola oil, Walnut oil, almond oil?
Whatever oil you like to cook with.
I’ve chosen an everyday, off the shelf, canola oil, and
I’m going to use a double boiler to heat my canola ganja mixture,
Then I’ll let it cool a little, strain, and I’m done.
So let’s do it.
As you’ve seen me do in other videos,
I’ll be using a ratio, of one ounce of sweet leaf,
to two cups of food solvent, in this case oil.
If you are using dried flower buds,
use a half ounce instead,
Crush the buds very well, then follow the same procedure.
Mix the reefer and the oil, in the top half of a double boiler,
And put water in the bottom half. Cover, and put on the stove, to boil.
Heat your marijuana oil in the double boiler for at least an hour.
Once it’s boiling rapidly, turn down your heat to medium, or low, to simmer.
Check back periodically to make sure your water never
boils away completely, and to give the cannabis oil mixture a quick stir.
Be careful, If all the water boils off, your oil will burn,
and your medicine will be ruined.
OK, it’s about two hours later. I’ve heated my infusion for a little over an hour, and let it cool
for almost another full hour.
It’s still warm, but not too hot to handle with my clean hands.
I’ve upgraded my own straining technique recently.

my strainer and my squisher.
I’ve retired these, in favor of this; a simple green hanky. It makes
A perfect reusable strainer. Watch this.
And there you have it, another way to take your wonder drug.
